At the Dave Castner Memorial Foundation, we began this Foundation in honor of Dave who was killed in a motorcycle accident 8/19/2023. Dave was a very big believer that everyone deserves a chance and if you ask for help, you should receive it. So as his family, we decided to start a foundation and do a fundraiser so we will be able to help those in recovery as well.
Dave Castner was a wonderful man. He was a terrific husband to his was Kelly of 36 years. He was also the best father to Liz, Veronica, and David Jr. We can't forget that he was world best Pappy to Cade and Ryleigh. on 8/19/2023 Dave was on his way home from the Rats Nest Run In when he was tragically killed just 2 miles away from Kelly. He leaves behind a very big legacy as someone who was involved in many things. He was always doing something adventurous, if it was rock climbing, Cross-Fit, mountain biking...You name it there is a 99% chance he did it or was apart of it.
Little did anyone know Dave was a recovering alcoholic of 22 years and he turned his addiction to fitness and activity and that is where we got the idea of started a Foundation.
